Guarding what others depend on
Read in your Bible: 1 Chronicles 7–9.
Chronicles describes those responsible for gates, rooms, utensils, supplies and worship. Some duties require careful counting and regular attendance. These ordinary arrangements support the restored community and protect resources entrusted for shared use.
Reliability can be a quiet expression of love. Keeping a record or arriving for a duty may seem less spiritual than speaking publicly, yet others depend on it. Such service should be valued without treating a person's worth as identical to flawless performance.
Fulfil one small responsibility you are tempted to dismiss. If you cannot do it, communicate clearly so another person is not left carrying the surprise. Appreciate those whose careful work creates safety and order for everyone else.

Faithful Father, teach me care in the duties others rely on. Help me communicate honestly, handle shared resources responsibly and honour the people whose steady work often passes unnoticed. Amen.
