Generosity freely offered
Read in your Bible: 2 Corinthians 5–9.
Paul speaks of reconciliation in Christ and organises a collection for believers in need. He encourages willing, proportionate generosity and careful handling of the gift. God's grace is the source, not a lever for coercing people into giving beyond responsible capacity.
A cheerful gift cannot be manufactured by pressure, fear or promises of wealth. The collection serves real people and needs transparent administration. Generosity includes readiness and fairness, while the giver's dignity and legitimate household responsibilities still matter.
Choose a credible need and decide freely what you can responsibly share. Check how the contribution will be used. If collecting from others, make the purpose and process clear and leave people room to decline without shame.

Make or organise one transparent, freely chosen contribution toward a verified practical need.
Let us pray
Generous Father, shape my giving through gratitude rather than pressure or gain. Guide proportionate help, honest administration and care for both those receiving and those who are asked to contribute. Amen.
